Lab Architecture

This Hands-On Training consists of an environment with a Linux SNMP agent/SNMP TRAP daemons, connected to a Zabbix server and agent services. The environment also includes a SIP server and a 4G application to use as monitored nodes.

Why this Lab?

This Lab provides the knowledge and the hands-on experience necessary to understand how the management and monitoring of the network can be done, regardless of the size of a company.

  • Gain a deep understanding of SNMP architecture and how agents and managers communicate for network monitoring.
  • Learn how to configure and manage Zabbix to monitor infrastructure using SNMP items, triggers, and alarms.
  • Develop the ability to create and manage SNMP agents and traps for real-time network event detection.
  • Understand backup strategies and their importance in protecting critical network and system data.
  • Gain practical knowledge in data recovery by learning how to restore lost information from backups effectively.
