This Hands-on Training consists of a simulated network environment with routers, switches, and hosts connected through ethernet links.
Why this Lab?
Practice on the different Networking use cases: routing, switching, transport protocols and VLAN.
Lab Objectives
- Gain a clear understanding of the roles of switches and routers in networking.
- Develop knowledge of Layer 2 concepts, including VLANs and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and more.
- Understand Layer 3 networking, including static routing, dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and external routing.
- Learn fundamental security concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, and secure remote access using SSH.
- Acquire an introduction to network automation as a foundation for advanced labs.
