This Hands-On Training consists of virtualized IMS Network that can be used to establish a real IMS VoIP Call using softphones of different machines.

Why this Lab?

You will be able to configure main IMS nodes (CSCF's, DNS and HSS), make use cases like registration and calls, analyze the network traces for the different protocols (SIP, Diameter and DNS).

Lab Objectives

  • Gain a solid understanding of IMS protocols and architecture by exploring SIP, Diameter, DNS, and the roles of key IMS components.
  • Develop expertise in IMS core management by learning how to provision subscribers and configure SIP, Diameter, and DNS.
  • Enhance troubleshooting and debugging skills by capturing network traces and analyzing IMS signaling and protocol interactions.
  • Understand IMS VoIP call flows and registration processes to assess and optimize real-time communication in IMS networks.
